New Hope Activities was founded in Port Au Prince, Haiti on July 2nd, 2016. It was founded by Opal Golden and Ojuriste Pierre as a way to give back to the community. New Hope provides sports and crafting activities for the local children. In teaching them to use their hands to create, there is hope that they will use these skills to earn money for school. These kids are not able attend school because they lack money, basic school supplies or even proper shoes to get them to school. New Hope provides a way for boys and girls to earn money by selling the handmade crocheted and wooden items.

With the belief that every child deserves an education, no matter where they were born, New Hope Activities strives to create a brighter future for the children of Port Au Prince.
